Discovery
The following contributors have shared their thoughts about what’s shaping our future in this EDIT’s Discovery section:
Genevieve Chen
OMG APAC
Gen joined Omnicom Media Group back in
2011 and was originally a part of the Business Development team across Asia-Pacific. Some key new business projects she was heavily involved in include Unilever, Sony and Chanel.
In summer 2013, Gen’s strong interest in understanding consumer trends made her move to What’s Next, Omnicom Media Group’s insight and innovation unit.
In her current role, her responsibilities include the implementation and on-going management of existing projects, the development of thought leadership pieces as well as driving our OMG innovations community.
She is also the key author of What’s Next’s Trends Report which is published on a yearly basis.
Guy Hearn
OMG APAC
Guy is Chief Innovation Officer, Asia Pacific for OMG. Part of this role is heading up What’s Next, OMG’s future focused innovations lab. As such he is responsible for developing and incubating new streams of business and delivering innovation
in consumer understanding and planning within the region.
Guy is a frequent speaker at media, consumer insights and related events. He is also a regular attendee of CES.
When not trying to understand consumers, he struggles to balance other obsessions such as music, art, football, cycling, Formula One, wine and reading. He was once the cofounder of an online jewellery business that sank without trace, thus demonstrating that all the strategy in the world wont help you if the product is no good.
