We ARE the device
As virtual assistants grow in popularity and natural language recognition/processing improves, our voices and gestures will become the default means
of controlling how a device functions. Soon we might see the need for a keyboard, mouse or touchscreens become a thing of the past.
A significant example of harnessing the human interface is Microsoft’s development of
the HoloLens — the device
is revolutionizing the way we perceive reality-altering solutions and merges real and virtual worlds. Through the HoloLens, one is able to feel like they’ve walked on Mars, play Minecraft on a coffee-table or look at complex DNA particles all with a swish of the hand.
