A new form of art
Things The thinnest TV (for now?)
The new Samsung Design series has taken on a new
approach to beautifying the home. It turns the TV into a hidden piece of framed art, instead of the ugly box on the wall.
Just put it up there!
Canon developed a small camera system that works in conjunction with their projector. It allows the projector to project on any wall. Yes, ANY WALL!
Do you have an exposed brick wall in your living room, or maybe you need to project onto an uneven surface, even a cloth one with pleats. No problem. The camera captures the image to properly set up. It analyses the surface — such as brick and eliminates it so that when you watch content, it appears just like if you were using a white screen.
The thinnest and most impressive TV we saw at CES.
The entire screen is the width of a key, and when mounted on a wall (via magnets), this 18 pound 65 inch TV screen is the width of 3 quarters stacked on top of each other.
A triple screen for gamers
The world’s first expandable screen laptop creates a 180-degree immersive experience, mainly for a gaming audience. Razer is famous for bringing unique design concepts to the marketplace, so while this is still in a prototype phase, this type
of technology may make its way to main stream manufacturers soon.
