Welcome to Carol’s Affordable Curriculum (CAC). We are here for
you regarding all of the educational materials you will need for the
children you care for. We understand all the work that goes into being
a child care provider and we are continually seeking new ideas and
ways of implementing it into our materials. The workload never ends
for child care providers, so we wanted to do something about that and
provide an excellent curriculum that is complete. Every great
curriculum needs to meet your child’s needs, such as: Interest Level,
Developmentally Appropriate and Adaptability. When seeking out a
new curriculum for your children, you will need to make sure it can
accommodate the different learning styles, because each child learns
differently. A great curriculum is more than just putting together ideas.
It is a collaboration of experience, knowledge, an understanding of
children and proven methods for helping children learn and succeed.
The curriculum you select and how you implement it, affects the
outcome for children. We are very proud of our curriculum and I know

Philosophy Statement

Our curriculum is designed around the widely respected theories of Jean Piaget, an
early childhood theorist who believed that young children learn best through a hands
on, active experience. The provider’s role is to provide an appropriate environment,
routine and materials. Our materials simplify this process for providers by providing
them with a developmentally appropriate plan for the month; along with the materials
for successfully implementing that plan. Providers can be assured that they are offering
the children in their care everything they need for success in kindergarten and beyond.
