Scholarship Recipient Lieutenant Tommy Gonzales, from the Dumas Police
Department, has served with that agency for 18 years and 9 months. Dumas Police
Department has been a TPA Agency Affiliate member since 1999.

Scholarship Recipient Corporal Susana Hernandez, from the UT System El Paso Police

Department, has served with that agency for 13 years and 10 months. UT System El
Paso Police Department has been a TPA Agency Affiliate member since 2021.

Scholarship Recipient Officer James Brownlow, from the Sunset Valley Police
Department, has served with that agency for 12 years and 10 months. Sunset Valley
Police Department has been a TPA Agency Affiliate member since 2023.

Scholarship Recipient Captain John Rebman, from the Coppell Police Department,
has served with that agency for 17 years and 8 months. Coppell Police Department
has been a TPA Agency Affiliate member since 2011.

Scholarship Recipient Sergeant Catrina Nanez, from the Texas A & M University Police
Department in San Antonio, Texas. She has served with that agency 7 years and 6
months.

Scholarship Recipient Assistant Chief Michael Fratus, from the Live Oak Police
Department, has served with that agency for 10 months. Live Oak Police Department
has been a TPA Agency Affiliate member since 1999.

These McLaughlin Scholarship Recipients applied to attend the 2024b Law
Enforcement Leadership Conference and were approved unanimously by the TPA
Executive Committee.
