▪ Debris flow which occurred on 7 August 2011 buried 6

wooden houses, killed 7 and injured 2 orang asli.

▪ Other than intense rainfall which triggered the landslide,

man-made dams for water supply purposes and the

felling of trees just prior to the debris flow were the

preparatory factors.

▪ The government then decided to reconstruct the whole

village and provide the orang asli with proper

infrastructures and amenities which include proper

housing, potable water supply, electricity, and a multi-

purpose hall
