REFLECTION
       REFLECTION

                                                                 Recalling  my  past  knowledge  and  beliefs  on  what
                                                                 conscience  is,  I  have  come  to  realize  that  I
                                                                 misunderstood conscience for a long time during my
                                                                 childhood. I used to believe that our conscience is a
                                                                 voice in our heads that tells us whether something is
                                                                 good or bad and scolds us through guilt for choosing
                                                                 to do the wrong actions. However, conscience does

                                                                 not scold a person nor does it guide anyone towards
                                                                 evil. Our conscience is the voice of God that directs
                                                                 us  towards  a  path  to  Him  by  knowing  and  obeying
                                                                 what  is  truly  good.  However,  we  cannot  solely  rely
                                                                 on  our  conscience  to  be  a  good  disciple.  We  must
                                                                 also  learn  how  to  form  our  conscience  through
                                                                 praying,  learning  the  scriptures,  reflecting,  and
                                                                 building relationships with the people around us.
