UCAS Timeline for September 2025 Entry

21st February: UCAS talk with University of Sussex in the
Johnson Centre
Create Morrisby accounts and start researching universities and
courses in PD time
Summer
Term
2024
April
15th April – 26th April: Year 12 Mock Exams. These will form your
Challenge Grades entering Year 13. Your Challenge Grades will be
your Predicted Grades for UCAS Applications.
30th April: UCAS’ search tool displays 2025 courses
May
1st May: External BTEC Exams and Assessment begins
6th May: Year 12 Mock Exam results published
14th May: Students can start their applications in the UCAS Hub
June
10th June: End of External BTEC Exams and Assessment
19th June: UCAS and Apprenticeship Fair at Portsmouth tbc
July 1st July: Personal statement writing workshop delivered by the
Life Skills Company

Holiday

August
BTEC and GCSE resit grades are published. These will provide
important information to base predicted grades on.
Autumn
Term
2024
September Challenge Grade discussions with Heads of Department and Year
13 Parents’ Evening to finalise these.
October
2nd October: Application deadline for conservatoire music
applications. Applications for dance, drama, and musical theatre
courses may have a different deadline – check conservatoires’
websites for information.
15th October: Deadline for applications to Oxford and Cambridge,
and for most courses in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary
medicine/science.
November 29th November: Internal deadline for UCAS forms to be
completed.

January 29th January: Final UCAS deadline.
