The Unicorn Inn
The Unicorn Inn is a terrific little pub for those seeking a quiet drink or two. Built in 1593, The Unicorn Inn has a great range of beers on tap - the landlords are dedicated to nurturing local breweries and suppliers.
Make the most of the variety introduced by the ever changing ‘guest pump’ brews, and enjoy a pint or two from local breweries such as Canterbury Ales, Whitstable Brewery and Pig & Porter. In the summer you can enjoy the pub garden, widely regarded as one of the best-kept secrets of Canterbury, and something of a St Dunstan’s legend. If you fancy testing your general knowledge we recommend the famous quiz on a Sunday evening.

The Dolphin
When the sun comes out there’s nothing nicer than enjoying a cold drink in a beer garden. With reviewers calling the garden ‘unquestionably the best beer garden in Canterbury’, The Dolphin is a popular spot to visit during the warmer months.
‘Henri’ the H Van can be found in the garden serving pub-goers with treats such as pork brioche, homemade burgers and other snacks, perfect for a mid afternoon pick-me-up to go with your beer. Close to the Cathedral, on Saint Radigunds Street, there’s no excuse not to visit The Dolphin.
The Pound
Fancy a trendy new spot to enjoy a few drinks on a night out? The Pound is the place to go. Set in Canterbury's historic former gaol and police station, The Pound offers an extensive range of tasty drinks in an unbeatable setting. The perfect mix of cocktails and culture, The Pound boasts an impressive selection of wines, champagne, beer, ale, gin and premium spirits, but don’t miss out on the cocktails - they are well, well worth trying.
Don’t worry about getting dressed up (unless you want to), The Pound believes in not having a dress code - wear whatever it takes to have an amazing time. Plus, entry is free every night - what a deal!
