The Lady Luck
Canterbury’s rock ‘n’ roll pub is perfect for those looking for an alternative spot to enjoy a bevvie or two. At The Lady Luck stick a track on the jukebox and enjoy a song or two from some of the best punk, metal and rock ‘n’ roll bands from the 1950s bang up to the present day.
Try out the pool table or catch the sun in the courtyard beer garden with a cider or one of the specialist rums. And if you get a bit peckish, there’s a great range of fresh homemade food, including a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The Old Buttermarket
A short stroll from Canterbury Cathedral or Burgate you’ll stumble across the Old Buttermarket, a traditional pub packed full of character. Father and son duo Andy and Simon Barrett established La Trappiste in 2010, and ever since this Belgian pub has been serving Canterbury residents with a great range of unique beers designed to make you feel like you’ve taken a trip across the Channel. The building La Trappiste calls home is full of character and history, and has been carefully and respectfully restored to create a unique setting in which to enjoy a drink.
