Wildwood Animal Park
Ever fancied meeting two rescued bears, and giving them breakfast? Well, at Wildwood you can take part in the exclusive Bear Experience; find out about the bears, feed them, and gain park entry for the whole day.
Enjoy seeing more than 50 different species of British wildlife from beavers and wild boar to wolves and bears, all along the 42-acre long trail. Wildwood offers student discounts on adult tickets, and if you’re working towards a degree and a job in the sector, Wildwood has an education department that can provide all the support and information you need.
Howletts Wild Animal Park
Take a walk on the wild side and leave your essays behind on a trip to Howletts. With more than 400 animals including gorillas, monkeys, lions, tigers and leopards, you can get close to your favourite animal without ever leaving the county. Howletts nestles in 90 acres of parkland, with lots of pathways for you to explore on your Kentish safari.
If you want to challenge yourself, why not take part in the Treetop Challenge? Use your animal instinct to make your way along the zip wires and rope bridges, through the treetop obstacle course. The best part? Your park entry fee goes towards the care of some of the world’s most endangered species.
