Seaford College Sixth
Form is an independent
co-educational school
situated in the heart
of the West Sussex

vibrant and supportive
environment for
students aged 16 to 18.
Known for its holistic
approach to education,
the Sixth Form provides
a balanced combination
of academic rigour,
personal development,
and co-curricular
opportunities.
At Seaford, students are
encouraged to pursue
their passions, whether
in traditional academic
subjects, vocational
courses, or co-curricular
activities such as sports,
music, outdoor pursuits
and the arts. The school
places strong emphasis
on individualized learning,
ensuring that each
student receives tailored
support to meet their
personal and academic
goals. Small class sizes,
dedicated tutors, and a
nurturing atmosphere
allow students to thrive
both in and outside the
classroom.
The Sixth Form also
focuses on preparing
students for life
beyond school, offering
comprehensive guidance
on university applications,
careers, and personal
growth. With excellent
facilities, a welcoming
community, and a
commitment to the
Introduction
well-being of its students, Seaford College provides a
stepping stone to future success.
With regards to the choices available, we are
delighted to offer several pathways to suit different
learning needs. It is important that all students are
on the right academic pathway over their 2 years at
Seaford. To do this we ensure that students speak
with either myself or one of my team in a one-to-one
meeting to ascertain what their goals and aspirations
are. This allows us to get them on the right courses at
the start of their Sixth Form journey.
I am very proud to be leading the Sixth Form here at
Seaford. It is a cliché, but time does go by fast when
you are having fun. To me that is what education
should be, filled full of fun and enjoyment. We want
our students to make the most of the opportunities
here at Seaford, combining academic subjects with
the co-curricular is essential to making the most
of your two years here. The Headmaster will always
say ‘Sixth Form should be the best two years of your
school life’ and ‘You should be crying at the leavers
ball as you don’t want to leave!’. These sayings are
evident of the Sixth Form Experience at Seaford, and I
encourage you to join us to find out for yourself.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Seaford
Sixth Form
Mr James Kimber - Head of Sixth Form
