The courses listed here also work in combination
with the A Level subjects listed above. Both can
be used to accumulate points for UCAS (see UCAS
section for details on points and equivalence).
The BTEC courses are assessed through a mixture of
internally set assignments and externally assessed
examinations and/or controlled assessments
throughout the 2-year course.
Our BTEC and C-Tech courses foster an interest in
the subject area as well as developing transferable
skills which can be applied by students as they
progress to university or employment.
These courses are all equivalent to 1 A Level, except
for the Business, Sport and Event Management
course which is equivalent to 3 A Levels.
