Competitive Houses
The competitive house spirit has continued to grow this term with a series of exciting
and varied events.
The showcase event of this term was House Music,
which was won by the creative and tuneful Adair.
This year’s theme was Disney, with all five houses
entering a House Band as well as coming together
for their whole House Song. The singing gets better
each year, thanks in part to our regular Congo
(Congregational Singing Practice) on a Monday
morning led by our Head of Music, Jenni Hawkins.
Each session ends with a competitive house
element, which was won by Kymes this term.
Looking ahead to next term, we have the ever-
popular House Darts to look forward to, as well as a
series of other events including Countdown, Drama
and Dance to name a few. We culminate the year
with our fantastic Sports Day, our showcase event for
the Summer Term.
