    Spotlight

     Editor’s Note: Representing the chapter as Spotlight is upcoming junior classman Jake Valentine. From the
     hometown of Sandwich, IL, Jake is pursuing a major in English with a minor in public relations. He has
     served the chapter as alumni relations chair and is the current lieutenant commander. On campus, he is part of
     the basketball fan club, Orange Krush, and the Investment Club. His work experience includes having been a
     column writer for the Daily Illini. Outside of school, he helps coach high school basketball in the summertime,
     and he also enjoys playing guitar, spending time with family, and reading.
