Chapter News

                  From the
          Chapter President

As my term comes to end, I’d
just like to say how great my
time as president was. I really
                   enjoyed having this amazing
                   experience leading our frater-
nity and it’s something I’ll never
forget. That being said, I am
                   confident that our newly elected
president, Aarij Abbas, will be a great leader for this
fraternity. Our new fall 2017 pledge class and our rush chair, Dustin Nguyen (center).
We have just initiated our fall 2017 pledge class

       Chapter JAKE INDERRIEDEN ’17
      Spotlight:

Editor’s Note: Representing the chapter as Spotlight is graduating senior Jake Inderrieden. From the
hometown of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Jake will earn his BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
As the current chapter treasurer, he is also involved on campus with GT club tennis (having served
as president, vice president, and treasurer), Tau Beta Pi, the Undergraduate Consulting Club, and
Alpha Pi Mu. Jake has prepared for his career with internships at Manhattan Associates, and with
AT&T as a logistics analyst intern. For fun, he enjoys a game of tennis or round of golf.

What would you like to do with your degree?
I pledged during my freshman I plan to graduate in December 2017 with a B.S. in
year in fall 2013, with the main Industrial and Systems Engineering. I am planning

in our chapter. Besides the meaningful relationships What are your plans for after graduation?
that were already forming just weeks after beginning After graduation, I plan to start a full-time job in
my time at Georgia Tech, I was also impressed with strategy consulting firm at Accenture. However,

From my perspective as treasurer, two things come Outside of school, what do you do for fun?
to mind when thinking about needs at the house. The main thing I like to do outside of school for fun
The first is that we’ve spent a lot of time and money is play tennis. I have been playing the sport since I
recently on kitchen repairs. Appliances are starting was eight years old, and I am currently a part of the

is that a majority of our member dues go towards
paying the mortgage on the house, so any further Jake and his brother after winning the championship
alumni assistance in paying the mortgage would match for T2 Tennis, a local Atlanta tennis leagues.
