ALUMNI NEWS
Memorial Trophy
The Beta Alpha Chapter is the proud winner of this year’s Memorial
Trophy! For the first time in over a decade and only the second time ever,
we have received recognition as the number one chapter of Theta Xi.
The award was given at this year’s 152nd Anniversary Convention in
Minneapolis. Beta Alpha also joined other chapters in Georgia and the
Southeast to win the award for outstanding district.
We thank our Executive Director Tanner Marcantel, Director of
Leadership Phil Barrineau, our past National President Dick Rushton,
all the headquarters staff, and other volunteers for the work they put into
this convention.
MS Foundation
Over the past few weeks, Beta Alpha teamed up with the Beta Zeta
Chapter at Auburn and raised $2,050.94 to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis
Foundation, surpassing our goal of $2,000!
A Poker Night was hosted to raise money, and then on Saturday we
participated and volunteered in the MS Foundation’s Walk MS right here in
Atlanta. We would like to thank the friends, family, and alumni who supported
us with donations. This feat would not have been possible without you!
