Chapter Update
Dear Brothers,
he Beta Eta Chapter of Kappa Sigma is in one of the
Tmost pivotal times in the chapter’s 118-year history.
Auburn University fraternity recruitment numbers are
higher than ever before and our chapter is growing larger
and stronger everyday!
Currently, the chapter is home to 32 brothers and we are
all striving and working this summer to grow the chapter
to 60 active brothers by the end of the year. Our recruitment numbers have
been on a steady rise for the past three years and do not plan on letting
up. While recruitment is our number one goal, we do have many other
exciting updates.
In July, our chapter moved locations to the house located at 140 Toomer
Street. This house will provide the space for our chapter to grow that
218 West Glenn did not have. This past spring, our academic rankings
skyrocketed from 19th place to fourth among fraternities. We continue our ritual proficiency. Our philanthropy event, “Puppies on the Plains,” is
excellence of ritual proficiency winning yet another award for 100 percent growing every year in reputation and we raise more money every year!
The academic year of 2018-2019
is expected to be our best year in
decades. We are determined to make
Beta Eta the best fraternity on campus
again and we would love to have your
involvement in this growth. Our
alumni are welcome at any point to
the chapter house and I hope to see
you all this football season!
