Spotlight Giancarlo Vargas
Chapter
Editor Note: Representing the chapter as Spotlight is Giancarlo Vargas. From the hometown
of Peachtree City, Georgia, Giancarlo is pursuing his degree in chemical engineering with a
minor in business. He serves as our campus relations chair, and is also involved on campus
as a FASET Orientation Leader, Wreck Camp Counselor, and programming chair for the
KNIT Mentorship Program. His work experience already includes a co-op with Hargrove
Constructors & Engineers as a process engineer. In his free time, he enjoys wet shaving, coffee
brewing, and playing board games.
This past summer, Giancarlo played the part of Larry
the Lobster in FASET Orientation’s opening number.
