Alumni News April 25th Ronald A. Edwards ’70 - I have been busy supporting the Navy acquisition 2015 Alpha Gamma Open and installation of phased array dual band radars for DDG-1000 class destroyer/ cruiser and CUN-78 class aircraft carriers. My fnal retirement - 1st retirement from the Air Force in 2000 – was scheduled for September 2014. I plan to travel, Stone and expect to drop by the Chapter house during football season! Ping L. Wu ’90 - Our kids are growing up. Tristan is now 16 years old, driving, Mountain and thinking about attending Tech for Engineering in a couple of years. Ken was president of the Chapter 1960 -1961. This was an important time in the life of the Chapter and Ken much to do with the Chapter’s Frank H. Buffone ’53 success then and going forward. Ken was featured last fall as the 2013 Alumni Spotlight. Kenneth R. Hill ’57 Betty “Tissy” Reed Speights, wife of Brother Robert “Bob” Speights ’58, passed away on July 29, 2014. Parks W. Pratt ’59 Thomas Clark ’61 passed away on August 20, 2014. Tom served as treasurer of the Chapter 1962 - 1963. Thomas E. Clark ’61 Jack Farmer ’62 of Augusta, who passed away on October 2, 2014. Jack majored in Textile Jack R. Farmer ’62 Chemistry. He was a textile executive with King Mill, before establishing his own real estate company. He ended his career as a Magistrate Judge in Columbia County. Jack is survived by two children, including Brother David Farmer ’01. Charles A. Burrows ’63 passed away on June 27, 2014. Charlie was an important member of the recruiting class of the fall of 1962, one of biggest in the Chapter’s history.
