Brotherhood The Spring 2017

This semester in brotherhood, the newly elected Pledge Class
Hypophetes, Alex Wicker, and I have made efforts to
continue the expansion of the position and the brotherhood
culture within TKE Beta -Sigma itself. We have instituted
a two-member brotherhood committee to cultivate
more ideas and have a more direct relationship with the
younger pledge classes. A new tradition of dinners on the
front porch has been a giant success. Recently, before
our Mardi Gras party, we had a crawfish boil with high
attendance and positive feedback from the brothers. In the
future, we will be doing other fun variations, such as a pig
roast luau. We are implementing more new events such as
paintball, movie nights, and sports competitions.
We have made it our goal to consolidate the brotherhood
in our house from independent pledge classes to a house-
wide bond, focusing on the bond between the younger
and older brothers. Additionally, we take pride in setting
an example for the younger gentlemen in this house,
exemplifying what it means to be a man of TKE and a
brother in this house.
Many brothers in the chapter have outstanding musical
talents, namely Daniel Adebiyi and Brooks Brown.
We have focused several brotherhood events around
supporting our talented brothers at the various venues
where they have been performing. Furthermore, we have Mario Aguilar Andrew Collins Greg Galvin Daniel Norwitz
