Our Need
The heart of our chapter is found in the house and is where our to show potential new members including a quality living and study
undergraduates live, learn, and lead together. If we are to continue to grow environment for the brotherhood.
and prosper we need a chapter house that reflects our rich history and
provides a competitive home for today’s undergraduates. The current house
is in desperate need of renovation and expansion. We love our house and
it has been home to hundreds of brothers over the last 80+ years, however
it is outdated and a significant amount of annual maintenance is required.
Year after year, these same large maintenance issues will continue to pop
up causing a larger financial burden.
A renovation will reduce annual maintenance costs and create a
sustainable home for our undergraduate chapter. While changes will be
made, we intend to preserve our great historical “Collegiate Gothic” look,
including keeping our beloved front facade design.
In addition to the internal issues of the chapter house, we also should
acknowledge the “arms race” on campus with new houses popping up
every year. We want to make sure the actives have a “competitive product”
“Chi Phi and Georgia Tech were two of the largest influences on the direction of my life and had an enormous
impact on who I turned out to be. It is worth our efforts to make this impact available to the coming generation.”
