The Research
Never Stopped
The Chicago Zoological Society
is a scientific research institution.
At any one time, staff members are working on dozens
of studies at Brookfield Zoo, as well as field studies in
surrounding areas and far-off places. To protect the health
of workers, volunteers, and interns who assist in these projects,
some studies were temporarily suspended last year.
But many of our researchers were busier than ever.
A few of the projects they worked on are listed
on the next page.
