Wines in the Wild

On November 9, 2024, guests joined
the Women’s Board of Brookfield Zoo
Chicago for its signature fundraising
event, Wines in the Wild. Held in the
Zoo’s Discovery Center, the evening
offered guests a chance to explore
five regions of the world through
wines, specialty cocktails, and
culinary delights.
The event featured unique opportuni-
ties for attendees to connect with the
Zoo’s beloved animal ambassadors
while supporting its mission. Guests
also participated in an exclusive
auction with exciting items, including
animal encounters, the chance
to name one of the Zoo’s newest
residents, travel experiences, tickets
to upcoming United Center events,
and a guitar autographed by
Taylor Swift.
Holly Jolly
Gingerbread Party
On December 7, 2024, Brookfield
Zoo Chicago’s Discovery Center was
filled with holiday spirit during the
annual Holly Jolly Gingerbread Party.
Families enjoyed a festive afternoon
complete with a visit from Santa, a
brunch and dessert buffet, and a hot
cocoa bar. Guests decorated ginger-
bread houses and met some of the
Zoo’s animal ambassadors. Hosted
by the Women’s Board, the fundraiser
