INSPIRATION

In the course of Design Methods, we had an opportunity to visit “Siam Lien Foundation for

the Visually Impaired” to talk with visually impaired friends. Through interview, we realized

APP DESIGN & FILM It's inconvenient for visually impaired friends when taking a bus because it's hard to know
when the bus will come. This may even causes dangerous accidents.

- When the bus approaches, it's hard for visually impaired friends to tell which bus is the
right one to take. By asking people around or bus driver each time causes some troubles.
Navigation is a very important tool for visually impaired friends while moving.
BLIND SLIDER The cell phone is also a very important tool for visually impaired friends.

Visually impaired friends use voice recognition system very often.
While operating cell phone, visually impaired friends can only operate by memory or

voice, it's not easy to make command precisely.

Via face to face interview with visually impaired friends, we

designed a service system <Blind Slider>, with the intention to
help visually impaired friends to go out independently.
