We transfer parents' longing for control toward their
children into literal genetic modi cation. Would
children still be happy, con ned in the frame of their
parents' expectation? Can we escape from such value
like this? The unique texture, the warmth that
stop-motion possesses brings out the wishes deep
inside the boy. We deliver the warmth to the boy's
life, yet at the same time control him as well.
