Cathy freeman is a famous Aboriginal runner. She

was born on the 16 of February 1973 and lives in
Queensland. She was the first Aboriginal to win an
Olympic gold medal and currently is 47 years old.
Cathy freeman went to Fairholme Sollege. And has
two brothers who love running.
Cathy freeman won the Olympic gold medal in the
year 2000. She was the first aboriginal to do so.
Cathy freeman was given an order of a merit
award by the Australian Olympic committee.
Altogether, I think Cathy freeman is a great role
model and an amazing person. I think that if you
are the first to win something, then you must be
pretty good.
