CHAPTER ONE OPENED AND CLOSED DOORS
KEY VERSE
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Revelation 3:8
Our Key Verse in Revelation brings our attention to an “Open Door.” For every door that is open in our lives, there will be others that will be closed. The good news is, a closed door need not stay closed.
In the course of this book, you will learn how to ap- ply Scriptural principles that we believe will cause many of the doors that are closed to you to open. It’s good to know that regardless of whether the door is shut or open, God has the final say as to when and how a door will be opened or closed. There are several references to an open door in the book of Revelation. In most instances, it’s re- ferring to “salvation” which is considered an “open door” to everyone who receives and accepts the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
During our lifetime, we all experience doors that are open and doors that are shut to us. Whether it is concern-
