were right to do it. Oh God forgive us. Have mercy on us!” Adam’s shoulders shook uncontrollably from his
groans and cries.
Little Enoch had seen grandpa like this many times
before, and he would always hug and pat his grandpa as he sobbed with him and say, “It’s alright Grandpa, don’t cry. God has forgiven you. God has forgiven all your sins.”
And then... all too soon... the sun began to settle in the west, and it was time for Enoch to go home.
Enoch climbed down out of his grandpa’s lap and pat- ted him one last time, as he left his grandpa sobbing, and headed to where grandma Eve was, to tell her goodbye. After all, he needed to thank her for the cookies and milk.
On the path home, little Enoch’s eyes continued searching the stars. Now tears brimmed his own little eyes as he yearned to experience the Creator his grandpa Adam had instructed him about.
Well, the years seemed to fly by. Some 60 or so of them, as Enoch left childhood, grew into a teenager, and then finally a full-grown man.
When Enoch woke up, God was the initial thing on his mind. As he worked during the day, when he ate his meals, God was predominantly on his mind. When he eventually closed his eyes at night, God was the last one he dreamed of.
Does this sound familiar, my friend? I hope so, if not now, then soon.
Through the years, Enoch felt like God was commu- nicating to him in his heart, in his mind, and in his spirit. Needless to say, he did not try to run from the call, but he ran to it and embraced it.
Then, when he discovered his spouse was going to have a child, Enoch felt in his spirit this was the time,
