Enoch, I feel it is important to establish some facts con- cerning the human race.
All of us have so much in common and yet, there are things about all of us that are very different.
Some of us are giving our lives to making money. Oth- ers are devoting ourselves to climbing up the corporate ladder. Others of us are pursuing Education. Someone’s developing their own business. There are women who have entered the workforce, while other moms are stay-at- home moms. Some of us are working as laborers. Others are working as skilled laborers, others in the medical field or law or finances and so forth.
Some of us have been married for years, while others of us have never been married.
Yes, we are so very diverse. But yet, we all have so many things in common.
All of us want to have happy homes and good mar- riages. All of us want to live in a neighborhood that is safe. All of us want clean drinking water and food. All of us want to live in a nice home. All of us want to belong. All of us want to be financially secure. All of us want to be liked and to be respected. We all would like to have good relationships with people around us. All of us are acquir- ing things. All of us are concerned about our health. All of us want to live into old age and then beyond.
From time to time, all of us worry... think about bad things that happened to us in the past.
We all want genuine friendship. This is where we are with Enoch, and the list goes on and on doesn’t it?
Should we dig a little deeper? On the other hand, all of us are keenly aware that there is much about our lives that we have no control over.
