into, whether we were born a male or a female. We have no control over what race we are, whether we are red, yellow or black or white.
We have absolutely no control over our basic physi- cal features. To some degree we have no control over our health and genes we inherited. We had no control over what our talents and abilities are, whether we could sing or what our voice sounds like.
None of us have control over the news networks. None of us have any control over what is going on in our gov- ernment, although we would like to.
None of us can control whether it is sunshiny or rainy or stormy today, or cold or hot. None of us can control the weather. None of us can control people’s opinions of us, what they think of us. None of us can control people’s opinions on anything.
None of us can control what our spouse thinks or what our spouse does? None of us can control what our family thinks about us.
However, there are a number of areas that we can all control in our lives: how we make a living, the places we go to, what we do with our spare time, who we hang out with, what we purchase, what we eat, where we eat, what we listen to, what we watch or look at on TV or the inter- net, where we go to church, how often we go to church, who we marry, what kind of vehicle we drive, what color and kind of clothes we wear, what time we go to bed, how many meals we eat a day, how we comb our hair, if we have any, whether or not we go to the doctor, whether we work towards a degree. The list is almost endless, isn’t it?
And, then there’s the most important thing in life, whether or not we give our lives to Christ. That’s #1 on the list, isn’t it? This is the most important decision we will
