I believe Enoch arrived at the conclusion, he would not allow anything on this earth to cause him to lose his FOCUS on God. Do you need to make this same decision today?
In order to walk with God, we must control what we FOCUS on. That’s why Colossians 3:2 commands us to set our FOCUS our affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Matthew 6:33 declares we are to FOCUS on seeking first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righ- teousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
It is important we understand where our FOCUS starts.
Matthew 15:8 states,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honour me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
So FOCUS does not start in our minds, it starts in our hearts.
Jeremiah 29:13 adds,
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
