would it mean you spent time with Ronald McDonald? Of course not! It’s the same with Jesus.
I believe grandpa Adam mentored his grandson, Enoch. Who says that grandpas and grandmas are too old to be used by God?
I believe Adam prepped Enoch so Enoch would know exactly what he had to do if he was going to personally fellowship with God.
Have you done that with any of your children? Any of your grandchildren? Great grandchildren, son and daugh- ter-in-laws? Was Adam like many fathers and grandfa- thers who have the desire to live something again through their son or grandson?
Had Adam been coaching Enoch for years on how to live, what to do, what not to do, what to say, what not to say, for such a time as this?
If you want to be a spiritual squash, you can be one in six weeks. If you want to be a fruit tree for the Lord, it will take a few years. If you want to be a mighty oak tree, it will take many years.
And then the day came when God spoke to Enoch’s heart and he knew what he was about to do, and when he was to do it, and how he was to do it. He knew this was it!
We must not overlook another important aspect of this, the timing of the Lord. God may give us a vision, but without the timing of God when to launch the vision, it will never happen.
Soon, Enoch was going to have a son born into his household. This would be the sign that it was time to con- tact God, and God’s time to contact Enoch.
What about you my friend, is it your time to contact God?
