What God has been missing for so long... was about
to once again fill him with the same joy He experienced when He fellowshipped with Adam and Eve at the cool of the day.
Friends, we’ve missed the real picture. We’ve only thought of Adam and Eve and how they were blessed to be with God. However, I believe it was also a blessing for God to be with Adam and Eve.
If this becomes really quickened to you, you will think differently about your prayer time with the Lord as you remember how God looks forward to our prayers and fellowship with Him, as much as we do.
No, neither God nor Adam could ever forget what it was like to fellowship together.
Until his dying day, I believe Adam grieved over losing that relationship, that fellowship, that friendship.
Perhaps, someone reading these lines... had a relation- ship with Jesus Christ, but you’ve lost it. You have allowed the nouns of life, people, places, things, to cause you to lose your first love. If this is true for you, do not put this book down until you return to your first love. Don’t let anything or anyone to hinder your meeting with God.
Grandpa Adam had no doubt often shared with his grandson what he had learned from being in God’s presence.
How long has it been since you have been in His pres- ence? How long has it been since you have feasted at His banquet table? How long since you have drunk from His cup?
Someone would say, “But, I go to church every Sunday. You don’t understand.” That’s just it, I understand. Mere- ly going to church does not automatically take you into God’s presence. If you went to McDonalds every Sunday,
