Cap-A-Dapts
Adjustable Billet Timing Pointers
Adjustable timing pointers are CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and allow up to a 4° range of adjustment. Designed for
a direct fit, timing pointers are black anod- ized finished.
A large diameter cap adapts to
MSD distributors, eliminating volt-
age leaks and other problems. HEI-
style spark plug terminals provide
tight connections that won’t vibrate
loose and are spaced further apart
to prevent ionization and crossfiring. Cap-A-Dapts are also available with rotor assemblies that allow adjustment of cap- to-terminal alignment for perfect phasing. HEI terminals and boots must be used with Cap-A-Dapt.

uses a #MSD8433 cap, rotor is based upon
the popular #MSD8467 race rotor with the
added benefit of adjustability, which allows the
rotor to be “phased in” for proper rotor tip-to-distributor cap terminal alignment.
Timing tape adheres to har- monic balancer for easy, precise timing adjustments. Kit includes eight tapes to fit balancers from 5.25"-8" diameter.
