nents. Casting has 1/4" NPT
ports, large oil passages, ad-
justable trans-brake release
and heli-coil threads. One-piece
cases mount directly to Chevrolet en-
gines; two-piece cases may be used with the proper bellhous- ing to bolt to Chevrolet, Ford, or Chrysler engines. Two-piece cases have 360° mounting flanges. Bellhousings meet SFI 30.1 specs; cases meet 4.1 specs with internal liner, which is included. Cases with rear bushing or rear roller bearing are available for additional durability. Tailhousing and internal components are not included.

Powerglide Racing Oil Pump

All new Super Hydra 400 eliminates the inherent weaknesses of
OEM GM Turbo-Hydramatic transmission cases. Heavy-
duty 360° internal lugs are
used for improved center
support retention. Drag/street
case is massively strong, constructed from ductile aluminum with a wall thickness sufficient to pass SFI 4.1 specifications, thereby eliminating the need for internal or external shields. All bellhousing and oil pump threads are heli-coiled to elimi- nate stripped threads. Two-piece design case, which is 100% interchangeable with all existing GM TH-400 components, requires the proper bolt-on bellhousing, tailhousing and nec- essary internal parts. Sold complete with billet steel interme- diate pressure plate and oversize retaining snap ring.
Note: Bellhousing must be purchased separately.
All new, fully re-designed Powerglide oil pump, constructed from high-strength cast iron, adds the benefits of larger pump gears, high-strength stator sup- port and improved fluid circuitry. Fac- tory machined to accept roller thrust bearing.
