                                Wilwood friction pads
are manufactured for
drag racing. In general,
soft, sticky pads that
work best in a low to me-
dium temperatures are best
suited for drag and pro street cars.
Medium pads can handle high temperature extremes and wear longer without fade.
Polymatrix “B” Compound
A race-only, medium-high friction brake compound with good cold response. The friction curve gently rises as temperature increases. A long-wearing pad in middle temperature ranges with moderate wear in sustained high-heat conditions. When high mile-per-hour fade has occurred with lower temp pads, this is the pad to use.

  Polymatrix “E” Compound
Designed for drag cars with iron or steel brake rotors. Medium friction compound delivers the best overall wear characteristics in the medium temperature range, offering smooth engagement, consistent response, and a flat torque curve throughout the range.
Polymatrix “Q” Compound
“Q” compound is an enhanced friction ceramic that reduces dust and noise, and improves stopping power through smooth engagement and increased fade resistance. Com- pound recovers quickly and lasts a long time.
BP-10 “Smart Pads” Compound
A street/strip compound that combines low dust and noise with the increased friction of a semi-metallic racing com- pound. Characteristics include good low to middle-tempera- ture wear rates, smooth engagement, consistent response, and a flat torque curve throughout temperature range.

Standard Hole Mount Steel Rotors
Steel rotors are for drag race use where temperatures are low to moderate and high heat spikes occur on an intermittent basis. Standard hole-mount rotors are offered in solid or lightweight drilled ver- sions and are often directly attached to mounting hats or mounting plates.

GT Series Shallow Offset Disc Mounting Hat
WIL170-10041
Precision-machined from premium-quality
aluminum for high strength and minimum weight, hat includes threaded rotor mounting holes for use with standard through-hole mounted rotors. Mounting hat has 5 x 4-1/2" bolt pattern, accepts 8 x 7.00" bolt-on rotors and provides a narrow, 1.23" brake offset.
Fixed-Mount Disc Mounting Hats
Ultralight aluminum hats are machined for weight reduction and available in offsets and bolt patterns for most race cars. Also available with no holes for custom bolt circles.
