Racing Oil Filters
DRAG RACING
Wix racing oil filters utilize “glass-
enhanced” cellulose media, which
enhances their ability to capture
particles as small as 10-12 microns,
removing up to 94% more dirt than
traditional filters. Many filters include built-in bypasses to maintain oil pressure even under heavily clogged conditions.
Oil Filter Adapters
When exhaust header-to-oil
filter clearance is an issue,
specialized adapters convert
engine mounted filter to a
remote mounted base. Adapt-
ers include 1/2" NPT female inlet and outlet ports. Oil lines must be purchased separately.

Racing air filter elements flow over 1,000 CFM without com- promising filtering qualities. The Wix racing air filters remove dirt, debris, and other contaminants before they enter the engine, providing extended piston ring life.

Remote Mount Oil Filter Mounting Base
Typically used in conjunction with an oil filter adapter, remote-mounted base may be used to filter engine oil, transmission fluid, etc. Oil filter base includes three mounting holes, dual 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet ports, and two 1/2" NPT plugs for blocking off unused ports.
