Gears are aircraft-grade
steel for maximum
strength. Each gear
has a shaved finish to
minimize backlash and
run-out, and is broached
for a 10-spline shaft. A
5-step heat-treating process
yields maximum gear life for
high-stress applications. Gears have a black oxide finish and lightened faces to reduce rotating weight without sacrificing strength.

A quality gear priced for the
sportsman racer! Sportsman Series,
unlightened 10-spline gears are CNC crown-hobbed from 8620 material, then heat-treated and REM-finished prior to shipment.
