FOREWORD

A warm welcome to Springsville International School. The purpose of this prospectus is to provide you with a
practical guide to the spirit and learning culture of our school. If your child is joining us for the first time we look
forward to a happy and fruitful relationship over the coming years. If you already have a child here we are

pleased to renew the links.

Our primary aim is to meet the needs of every child entrusted to our care. We seek to support each child’s
individuality and develop everyone’s talents. At Springsville Int'l School, we work together to provide a

challenging, engaging, supportive and caring environment for the whole school community. We continually strive
to enhance this positive climate for learning , which defines the culture of our school . Fundamentally , the school

seeks to complement the home in promoting all aspects of learning and development.

The children have a clear voice in the life of the school; a rights respecting school, the uncrc underpins our
schools core values and mission statement of learning, sharing and caring together.

At Springsville we have high expectations of our pupils and staff. We celebrate perseverance, resilience and risk

taking, ensuring children welcome challenges and are not frightened of making mistakes. We have strong links
with our parents and the local community. We firmly believe that confidence in a school comes from knowing

and understanding what’s happening within it. We appreciate the support we have always received in the past
and we look forward to your continued support in the future.
