             The Kittens and Unity
Once there lived three kittens who were very naughty. The first kitten’s name was Kitty, the second was
Lilly and the third one was Milly.

They were very naughty. They used to fight all the time, for everything. Their mother was very frustrated
with them. One day, she was so angry with them for fighting and throwing a tantrum just for a piece of
paper to draw when there were hundreds of papers in their home. “I GOT THE PAPER FIRST!’’, Lilly
screamed. ‘’WHO SAID SO! IT WAS I WHO GOT THE PAPER FIRST!’’, Kitty shouted as she glared at Lilly.
“I’VE GOT AN IDEA. WHY DON’T BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP AND GET ANOTHER PAPER TO DRAW WHILE I
TAKE THIS PAPER FOR MYSELF!’’, Milly suggested. This made their mother so frustrated that she threw
them out of the house. She also gave them some money to spend.
They were very sad. They went on their way to different cities but to do the same thing: ’sewing’. They
wanted to show each other who is better. In the cities they went, all the cats loved to wear T-Shirts, so
Kitty, Lilly and Milly started a shop with the money their mother gave them. But none could make a perfect
T-Shirt, so no one came to buy it. Kitty could not sew the collar and the sleeves; Lilly could not sew the
collar and the main part of the T-Shirt; Milly could not sew the sleeves and the main part of the T-Shirt. As
such, they could not earn money. They knew that they could not survive like this. They closed the shop and
went back home, but when their mother got to know that they all went to different cities, she threw them
out of the house again. This time she gave them money and told them to work together or else they could
not come back. They agreed and set off to the city again.

They opened another shop together and started to sew. Kitty would sew the main part of the T-shirt and
would give it to Milly to sew the collar. Milly would then give it to Lilly to sew the sleeves. This went on for
a year. Their shop became famous. They became rich and brought their mother to their big bungalow. Their
mother was proud of them. The kittens never fought with each other from then and they lived happily ever
             after.
We should also stay united and fight for Covid-19 by staying home and following social distancing measures
             to get rid of it.
‘Let’s be strong and let’s fight for Covid-19’

                                          Let’s Stay Strong

Having been under lockdown for nearly months now, Singapore like all
other countries is also battling COVID-19 pandemic. Singapore task
force members like SPF, SCDF and most importantly our healthcare
workers have put themselves on the frontlines exposing themselves. We
salute them for all their dedication and hard work. Let us all come
together to eliminate this virus and return to our normal lives.

In my artwork, Merlion, a symbol of Singapore (Lion City), reminds us
to be brave and courageous. Marina Bay Sands, most iconic building of
Singapore, tells us to be strong and integrated. Let us keep our spirits
up and lookout for one another to emerge stronger as a nation.
