O’God I request your useful Knowledge and wide sustenance and
cure from any illness and sickness by your Mercy. O’God the
most Merciful of all.
Prayer of Safa
This is read when the Pilgrim, or Umrah performer ascends Al
Safa Mountain in Harram: In the name of God I start with what the
Prophet of God started (Blessings and Peace of Allah be upon
him). From the verse of Surat “the Cow”: “Behold! Safa and Marwa
are among the Symbols of God. So if those who visit The House
en the Season or at other times, should compass them round. It is
no sin in them. And if anyone obeyth his impulse to Good---be sure
that God is He Who recogniseth and Knoweth”.
Sa’i
It is seven circuits, if he is in his Ihram, For the Glory and the
Majesty of God, he has to ascend the stairs of Safa and he has to
face the House (Al-Kaa’ba). He has to say God is Greater, God is
Greater, God is Greater and Gratitude to God.
Prayers for the First Circuit (Showt)
God is Greatest, God is Greatest, God is Greatest and Greatest of
all, and much Gratitude and Glory to the Great God, for his kind
gratitude for the morning and for the sunset. And for the night
you have to genuflect and remember and pray for Him for the long
night. There is no god except one God. He fulfilled his Promise and
He gave victory to his slave, and defeated all the parties Alone.
There is nothing before Him or behind Him. He bestows Life and
Death. And He is perpetual, as He will never Die or Fade Away, for
ever. In his Hands there is all Benevolence And our fate is to him.
He is capable of everything. (God Forgive and give Mercy) And for-
give and become Generous, And to exceed to what You Know, You
know what we do not know, You are the Honored and the Most Kind
