She was the definition of a strong black woman.
She fought a long battle and stayed strong through
every moment. Out of everything she went through
she never looked like what she was going through.

Auntie Vanessa embodied grace and
elegance. Although her voice was soft,
she commanded any room she stepped
into. When she left you could just feel
the presence of her spirit. She just had
that effect. We will never forget our
beloved aunt.
Keeping Romans 8:35, 37-39
near our hearts…
“Who will separate us from the love
of Christ? Will hardship or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword? No, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through
them who loved us. For I am convinced
that neither death, nor life, no angles
nor rulers, nor things present, nor things
to come, nor powers, nor height, nor
depth, nor anything else in creation, will
be able to separate us from the love of
God in Jesus our Lord”.
I’ll miss your laugh and seeing you smile.
I will forever admire your strength and
resilience. Every karaoke song in my
future is dedicated to you. Love You!
