Fire drill

A Fire safety Training cum

demonstration session was
conducted today at 2 pm in the
campus. During the session, the

Teachers, non-teaching and
support staff of the campus

were provided with
comprehensive knowledge on
handling fire extinguishers

besides various methods for
preventive fire mishaps.

A small live fire was also
initiated in a controlled

environment to exhibit the
proper use of ABC type and CO
2
type portable fire extinguishers.
The staff members present were
also given an opportunity to

operate the fire extinguishers in
order to create confidence in

them regarding use of fire
fighting appliances in a real case
scenario.
