Department managers and administrators are able to request the disposal of equipment assets in Compass.

The Asset Search Criteria and Acquisitions Details sections display.

1. Enter the Asset Business Unit associated with the asset you wish to dispose.
Generally, enter AMUNV for searching university equipment. Carlyle Fraiser equipment is under business unit AMCAR.
Healthcare entities have unique business units as well.
2. Enter any additional search criteria to narrow your results then click the Retrieve button.
The Asset ID or Tag Number are the preferred filters.
When searching many assets add Location search criteria.
The ChartField Search Criteria link can be used to search for equipment using specific ChartField values such as
department.
Compass only displays the first 300 results for your search. Use additional refinements to reduce the results to less than
300.
