1. Click the Checkbox in the Dispose column of the asset you want to remove.
2. Select a Disposal Code from the drop down list.
3. The Retire Date and Accounting Date defaults to the current date. The Retire Date should be the
date the asset was actually retired, and the Accounting Date is typically the current date.
You may select more than one asset to dispose. Assets with a greyed out checkbox may not be selected for disposal.
4. Click either of the Submit for Disposal buttons.

1. Click the OK button.
The asset selected has been submitted for disposal and follows approval workflow before being officially disposed.
If an asset is fully disposed and disposal has been approved, the asset will not be available for any other transactions, unless
it is reinstated.
If an asset is disposed and submitted, and the disposal is denied, the asset will immediately be available for transactions
after the asset request denial completes.
