Setup an Initial Pan Project and Activity
Review and verify the values on the PAN Setup page. Unless noted, All values default from the Proposal.
1. Verify the Project ID.
2. Verify Project Title.
3. Check PAN checkbox.
This checkbox is used to indicate that a Project is a PAN. It can be updated in the delivered pages via
Grants>Awards>Project>Supplemental Data tab.
When the full Award is received, this box will need to be unchecked during the Setup Award process.
4. Verify Project Begin Date.
5. Verify Project End Date.
6. Verify Department.
7. Verify Subdivision.
8. Verify Department and Percent Pledged.
9. The Go to Project and Project Status hyperlinks can be used to access the delivered Project
and Project Status pages.
10. Verify Activity ID.
This value should be YRALL.
11. Verify Activity Status.
This value should be Pending if Begin Date is in the future and Open if Begin Date is in the past.
12. Verify Activity Start Date.
13. Verify Activity End Date.
14. Verify F&A Rate Information: Facilities Admin Rate, Base Funded Rate %.
