        1.  Uncheck the Use Predefined Standard Note option.

              This will activate the Note Type and Note Text fields.

        2.  Click the Look Up Note Type icon.

              If AGING_RPT is selected, the note will appear on the custom University report Aging by Chartfield-With Notes.
               (University BU’s only, including AROXF).

              If left blank, the note will not appear on the report.
              Healthcare will always leave the Note Type blank.

        3.  Enter your note in the Note Text field.

              A typical note may be “This customer normally pays in 120 days”.
        4.  Click the Save button.


        View a Customer Note on the Collections Workbench

        Open the Collections Workbench and search for the customer.  Refer to the How do I Use the Collections
        Workbench? job aid for more information.
        When a Customer Note has been attached, a warning icon (an exclamation point) appears next to the
        Customer ID.
