WESTMORELAND PARK SKATEPARK
The Opportunity
Councilmember Chad West, Park Board Representative JR Huerta, and advocates saw an opportunity in late 2022 to leverage existing city funds designated for a new skate park. If successful in this Phase I private fundraise, the City will match up to $400,000. This will tee up the park for a possible Phase II addition and expansion for the upcoming 2024 Bond.
The $400,000 that needs to be raised to match the city's commitment is an opportunity for corporations and individuals to participate in this transformative project and create a lasting legacy for generations to come.
