1980s, Sloughi Strada Classic, Italy.
Sloughi Classic Road bicycle 1980s. Sloughi, named after a breed of an Arabian racing
dog, is a small Italian bicycle manufacturer, which produced some very interesting and
high-quality frames in the 1980s.
Many of these frames were handmade in Italy and our exemplar is one of them. It is
made of sturdy 'Columbus Tretubi' tubes connected into nicely shaped cut-out lugs. The
main triangle consists of Columbus SP tubes and the stays are made from a sturdy
CroMo alloy. This combination makes perfect sense for a bike of this amazing size.
Another highlight surely is the complete Shimano Dura Ace group set, which ensures a
swift ride and reliability.
An ideal bicycle for taller riders who are looking for a special and very classy ride!
